Sirona’s technology extends diagnostic X-ray imaging potential in the fields of implantology, endodontics, periodontics, oral/maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics. The tools available in the Galileos software enable users to reduce the risk in various treatments, plan surgical interventions, coordinate treatment planning and explain treatment to patients with accuracy and clarity.
The imaging, with new Cone Beam technology goes beyond traditional diagnostics and treatments by calculating a large volume 3D image set, more than 200 exposures in one, low-dose 3D scan of 15 seconds or fewer. Not only are the 3D images displayed in perfect quality, they also enable clear navigation and diagnosis via traditional panoramic, cephalometric, and cross-sectional display.
