About Dr. Robert Stanley, DDS
Dr. Robert Stanley has always been interested in dentistry. As a child, he remembers spending hours in his grandfather’s dental office in Chicago. After his grandfather passed away, Dr. Stanley became interested in Engineering. He received his bachelors, masters and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He worked at Sony Ericsson in Research Triangle Park as a Senior Project Manager.
Since meeting his wife, Dr. Bobbi Stanley, and being involved with her dental practice, Dr. Robert Stanley realized that he still loved dentistry. He decided to pursue a dental degree which he received from the University of North Carolina. He joined his wife in practice in Cary, NC. Dr. Robert Stanley brings a new prospective to their dental office. He enjoys surgery, endodontics (root canals) and General Dentistry. This allows Stanley Dentistry to broaden their services and care for their patients.
Dr. Robert Stanley loves to learn and takes continuing education courses on a monthly basis. He believes that being the best dentist means improving your skill level through education and the latest techniques available.
In his spare time, Dr. Robert Stanley enjoys being active in endurance sports with his family. He has completed several triathlons, half marathons and marathons with his wife. Both Dr. Stanleys run 5K races with their four children on a regular basis.
Dr. Robert Stanley is also active in the community and his children’s school. He has coached basketball at Cary Christian School, been a den leader for Cub Scout Pack 393 and is currently a Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scout Troop 212.
