Every day, I am able to make my patients healthier by giving them, not only a healthy mouth, but also a beautiful smile.” Dr. Stanley also discussed the challenges and path of becoming a professional. She encouraged the students to make goals and write them down. Dr. Stanley said, “I have my goals written and placed on my bathroom mirror so I can see them each day. This helps me to focus on my goals daily.” Alison DeCinti, Assistant Director in the Advancement office at UNC-P, invited Dr. Stanley to speak to the students.
