Dr. Stanley Provides Encouragement to UNC Dental Students
October 26, 2007 - Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Dr. Bobbi Stanley was invited by the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD) to give a presentation to female dental students at the University of North Carolina – School of Dentistry (UNC-SOD) on the joys of the profession. Dr. Stanley spoke on “The Good Life” to more than 50 student members of the AAWD on the Chapel Hill campus.
“There are so many positive aspects of being a dentist, especially for a woman, that I really enjoy sharing them with dental students,“ said Dr. Stanley. “From the satisfaction of literally creating beautiful smiles, to the family-friendly aspects, such as flexible hours and no on-call duties, dentistry provides a wonderful career option.”
Because of her passion for dentistry and her contagious enthusiasm, Dr. Bobbi Stanley is a featured speaker at many local dental and community events. When not practicing dentistry or at speaking engagements, Dr. Bobbi Stanley enjoys spending family time with her husband, Dr. Robert Stanley and their four children. Dr. Bobbi Stanley is an exercise enthusiast and regularly participates in local marathons and triathlons.
