Wake Smiles and Dr. Robert Stanley

Making a Difference

Dr. Robert Stanley volunteered at Wake Smiles on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 providing dental services to under served people of Wake County.

Wake Smiles is the result of a collaboration of community dental, health, political and public interest groups whose purpose is to provide quality dental care to the residents of Wake county who may not otherwise be able to afford dental care. The goal is to increase the number of uninsured patients who may receive comprehensive preventative and restorative dental services in the Wake County Area.

Dr. Robert Stanley, who is one of a number of local dental professionals who volunteer their time to help carry out the mission of Wake Smiles said, “It is rewarding to help someone in obvious pain in exchange for a simple smile. I truly feel blessed to be able to provide these services.”

Stanley Dentistry is well known for their contributions to the community. Both Drs. Robert and Bobbi Stanley work with the Boy Scouts of America, along with taking part in multiple local charity events. It is no surprise that Dr. Stanley is happy to volunteer his time to an organization whose mission is to provide access to dental services for all people fairly, particularly those who are uninsured and under served in the local community.
