After living years with an unhappy smile, Tommy decided it was time to change. He came to our office and requested a Smile Makeover. After a thorough evaluation, photos and x-rays, it was determined that Tommy need his “bite” (the way his teeth come together) changed also. Tommy received a complete workup with our computerized jaw tracking instrument and an orthotic was made. Tommy wore his orthotic for a few months to determine the correct alignment of his jaw. Once the bite was established, we place veneer and crown on the upper arch. We also placed some porcelain onlays on a few of his bottom molars. Our final result was a new man! Now when people compliment Tommy on his beautiful smile, he simply smiles bigger.
